Not quite up to it
Had fully intended to do my Monday morning yoga class, but sometimes a girl just has to take it easy for a bit.
Nevertheless the girls were having a morning tea for me after the class, and nothing, even Ivor (Tumour) keeps me away from morning tea.
Probably a good thing I didn’t go as they said a little yoga mantra for me during the class, and I have a fair idea of what that would have done to me. This is the girl who got all teary watching Lady Gaga’s tribute to The Sound of Music at the Oscars – but then, The Sound of Music does hold a special place in my heart.
Thanks to Jackie for hosting morning tea, and thanks to Helga, Virginia, Bec and Zac, Julie, Nicki, Jane, Janette and Shanta, for coming along, and your love and good wishes, also to Estelle in Salt Lake City who was there via Facetime, and Lyn and Helen who couldn’t make it, but who were there in spirit. Thanks also for your patience while I tried to master my new selfie stick!

Dear Helen,
I have thought of you every day this year especially after you kindly told me of your nasty medical problem. How I would like to see you and relive the good times we have had in Adelaide – I will now have to wait as you have your operation.
The blog, if that is the correct word, you have started is incredible and shows what a strong and positive lady you are. I am confident that with the skilled medical professionals and your many, many great friends wishing you well you will come through the next few weeks and put the problem behind you.
I look forward to receiving good news on your blog and be assured we are all sending you our love and very best wishes.
I have sent you via email the photograph of you in the Sound of Music those few years ago (!!??) and you will see you now have a full set of teeth!!!
With my love as always,
John
A Selfie Stick Helen (Hayley will be Impressed haha) Enjoy your morning tea xx
